
Patient Admission Process
Step 1: Arrival & Registration
Upon arrival, please proceed to the Information Desk. Our staff will:

Verify the patient’s and watcher’s ID and insurance details

Explain available room options and rates

Create or update the patient’s hospital record
Step 2: Initial Nursing Assessment
At the Emergency Room, a nurse will:

Check vital signs, allergies, and medical history

Assess the patient’s condition

Notify the admitting doctor
Step 3: Doctor’s Evaluation
The attending doctor will:

Determine if hospital admission is needed
-
Decide the appropriate level of care (Ward, HDU, or ICU)

Issue an admission order
Step 4: Consent & Documentation
The Admitting Department will assist you with:

Admission and procedure consent forms
-
Explanation of possible expenses

Discussion of hospital policies, patient rights, and responsibilities
Step 5: Room Assignment
The Information Department will:

Assign a room based on availability and medical needs
-
Coordinate with Nursing, Maintenance, and Housekeeping to prepare the room
Step 6: Transfer to
Assigned Room

The patient will be safely transferred by hospital staff

A nurse at the assigned unit will conduct an initial assessment and receive endorsement
